Pre-arranged Employment Visa (9G) or its extensions

Application Process:

  1. Secure the CGAF (General Application Form) from the Public Information and Assistance Unit (PIAU) at BI G/F Main Office or from the official BI Website.
  2. Submit the documents for pre-screening to the Central Receiving Unit (CRU) or other authorized Immigration Offices.
  3. Pay the required fees and submit a copy of the Official Receipt.
  4. Attend any required hearings as per the schedule provided.
  5. Proceed to Image and Fingerprint Capturing Counter of the Alien Registration Division (ARD) to submit requirements for the Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR I-Card) application, if applicable.
  6. Check the website for visa application approval status.
  7. If approved, submit the passport for visa implementation.
  8. If the ACR I-Card is approved, claim the ACR I-Card.

  • For extensions, biometric data previously captured during the visa conversion may be used, but applicants aged ten years and below shall have their image and fingerprint captured every extension, while those aged eleven years and above shall have their data captured every five years.
